8 cups water
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp sea salt
10 drops of lavender essential oil (optional)

Sea salt provides trace minerals and electrolytes, necessary to provide optimal water balance. This is really important post-workout, or when spending a lot of time in the sun – the more you sweat, the more electrolytes you need!
Lavender is useful to promote relaxation and remedy anxiety. This can be left out, but adds a nice floral touch to the mildly sweet lemon flavour.
