I have a secret obsession with Hornby Island energy balls. They’re this amazing combination of peanut butter, oats, sesame seeds, molasses, and honey. So simple but so good. Since giving up grains and sugar, I’ve had to give them up. But not anymore! I made these keto/paleo energy balls with hemp hearts, and they’re to die for!
Sorry Hornby balls, it’s not you, it’s me.
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup hemp hearts
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup crunchy almond butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
3 Tbsp molasses
Mix, roll into balls, and refrigerate for about half an hour to help them set. Voila!
